Hi, I’m Sha’an. Your photographer.

When you book a portrait session with me, you know exactly who will be behind the camera. Not a studio. Not whoever is available that day. Me.

That matters to me. And I think it matters to you too.

The Work

I create portraits for founders, coaches, speakers, and business leaders. Professionals who are accomplished and visible. My approach is simple: I take the time to understand who you are before I pick up the camera. The result is portraits that are polished and natural, with depth and character. Not stiff. Not generic. Not forgettable.

18+ years in Branding & Marketing

Before photography, I spent nearly two decades in branding and marketing. I worked across luxury, FMCG, lifestyle, and home and living sectors, leading teams and shaping strategy at senior levels.

That kind of background doesn't leave you. I see my clients the way a marketer does - how they're perceived, how they want to be seen, and what their image needs to communicate. I also lecture in marketing, which keeps me sharp and close to the discipline I've spent my career in.

When I photograph you, I'm not just thinking about light and composition. I'm thinking about your personal brand and the story you want to tell.

The Transition

At 40+, I made a deliberate choice to leave the corporate world. It wasn't impulsive. It came after a period of honest reflection about what I wanted my life to look like, and the courage to choose differently.

That transition taught me a great deal. It also led me to Life Coaching. I now work with individuals navigating their own crossroads: career shifts, identity questions, and the important work of figuring out what comes next.

If that resonates with you, you can find out more about my coaching work here.

Why This Matters

I left a career that looked successful from the outside. What I found on the other side was work that felt meaningful, and the realisation that both can coexist.

That's what I bring to every portrait session. Not just technical skill, but genuine curiosity about who you are and how you want to be seen and remembered.

Have a story to tell? I'd love to work with you.
